01/07/2021 WPS (flying car over former Schwitzer lands).  

Some curious news... on Monday a flying car took off from Nitra airport and flew the approx 50 miles to Bratislava. Nitra airport (Janikovce) where it took off is entirely on the farm lands owned by Stefan Schwitzer. His land extended to the Nitra River which you can see for a moment at 0:35 in the video. With Nitra in the distance in this shot, their farm lands stretched from the river towards the right. Compare with Grandad’s map in Chapter 1 of his memoirs. Later in the video it flies over the much larger Danube. At the end the car folds up and drives into downtown Bratislava with the cobbled streets...

07/11/2021 WPS (Simon Schwitzer's Mausoleum on All Saints' Day).   Mirko, the former major of Tepličky, has sent me these pictures of the mausoleum of your great great grandfather, with candles lit for All Saints Day, adding rather touchingly "I pay tribute and remembrance every year with respect".
