View pictures from William & David's cycle tour of Northern Italy in August / September 2021.
The trip is in four stages, each stage separated by two days complete rest to allow some muscle recovery.
Stage 1 - three days cycling through the Italian Lakes, from Vacciago at Lake Orta to Tirano in the Valtellina.
Stage 2 - five days cycling over the Stelvio pass and climbing the Val Pusteria to San Candido.
Stage 3 - three days cycling via Cortina and following the Piave river down to Venice.
Stage 4 - by train to Milan, along the Naviglio Grande and Ticino river to Sesto Calende and back up to Vacciago.
